Wiz Khalifa Sunglasses from eyetique sales reach from Local to International with the help of ocreations.

Launched in November, 2010, “The Elevators” sunglasses created for Pittsburgh rap star Wiz Khalifa are now selling around the world. 500 pairs of the first edition frames worn in the “Black and Yellow” video by Wiz Khalifa are nearly sold out, even after the Pittsburgh Steelers let down in Super Bowl XLV.

Eyetique anticipates the need to produce a second edition run of “The Elevators” design to meet customer demands.

To launch their custom-designed frames, eyetique worked with ocreations, a Pittsburgh design firm, to develop a new website and in-store graphics to drive traffic and sales. Daily hits on the eyetique website (www.eyetique.com) rose from 3,000 to 40,000 due to Wiz Khalifa’s fame and they’re not slowing down.
