Established in 1975, Industrial Commercial Elevator had a long-standing reputation for quality repair work in the greater Pittsburgh region, but was sorely in need of a brand overhaul. As well, the company was trying to transition from their somewhat cumbersome name to the much-shorter and more user-friendly acronym,”ICE.”

The new logo design paid homage to the elevator company’s roots, maintaining the historic lineage by keeping the gears from the original design intact. As well, the ocreations designers incorporated both the full company name and the ICE acronym, an effort to aid in the identity transition by connecting with long-standing and new customers, alike.
