OCREATIONS CLIENT DONATED TO LOCAL FOOD BANKS

Years ago, the ocreations team donated time to build a brand for a young baker, Abigail Neal. Her hobby, which she calls “Abibakes,” started with a focus on baking cupcakes, but now has expanded into other delicious desserts and treats.

Abigail Neal, who is now 15 years old, has decided to make a generous donation during the global pandemic. Understanding that food banks are in search of any support they can get (volunteers, food donations, or monetary donations), she recently baked numerous batches of biscotti that she sold online. Then, Abigail donated the proceeds of the biscotti sales to two local charitable institutions – South Hills Interfaith Movement and Finleyville Food Pantry.

The treats were clearly a hit, as the biscotti treat sales amounted to $1,100, which the proceeds were donated to those charities!

Abigail was even featured in a local news article from The Almanac. One of Abigail’s quotes, excerpted from the Almanac article reads:

“Obviously since we are all sitting around and being stuck in the house because of the quarantine, I was thinking of something to do. I always baked the biscotti with my grandfather,” she said. “That’s how I got the idea.”

ocreations is proud to have been a part of the branding process for such a generous person. We’re all in this together during this worldwide pandemic, and it is truly rewarding to see some of our clients taking their passions to the next level by giving back to those in need. We love the community we’re based in, and are proud to be a part of such a supportive community.
